Here to mix up the world of worship music are Northern Irish band Rend Collective Experiment with their song ‘The Cost’. This band were recommended to me by a friend and at first I couldn’t quite decide what I thought, so I borrowed the album and after one listen it was safe to say I was hooked. Folk/Acoustic Rock/Pop has had some good years recently with bands like Mumford & Sons becoming so big so it’s great to hear the genre reach Christian music in the same way. I chose this song to put on here because I think that it represents the band’s sound well and some of their other songs are already available on youtube. So sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of the Rend Collective Experiment.
