JGivens (Jeremiah Givens) is, in his own words, ‘An emcee who did not come to condemn the world’. He is also part of the Hip-Hop collective The GoodFellas. This song chronicles the last days of Jesus leading up to his death on the cross. Backed by a beautiful melodic beat, JGivens’ rhymes create a brilliant retelling of Jesus’ life, incorporating slang and modern references to help illustrate it in a way you’ve never heard it before.
