My Double, My Brother – Specks Of Black

Genre: Indie Rock, Indie Pop,

Formerly known as The Fragrance, this 5 piece band changed their name after feeling that to a non-Christian audience the band name could come across sounding slightly self-righteous. Now under the name My Double, My Brother, the band released their first full length album in 2011 – What We Found Beneath The Ground. Taking influence from faith and the broken world in which we live, My Double mix poetic lyricism with a modern blend of indie music, creating a sound similar to artists such as Death Cab For Cutie, Arcade Fire and Bon Iver.
